We have a club social coming up on July 20 at the Barn.  Bring your lawn chairs. Jimmy Buffett night at the Grizzlies on July 21.  Make sure to let Jane Ellen know if you will be there so she knows how many she will be feeding.  Bring a side to share.

Don’t forget to get your Holidaze tickets early.  They are discounted for Club Members until September 1st.  After that, sales open to the public and prices increase. A few people have taken advantage of this so far.  We only have a month or so left for discounted pricing.

Jimmy Buffett Night at the Grizzlies
Saturday, July 21 @ 5pm in the parking lot
Come tailgate at the Gateway Grizzlies game with us.  Bring sides to share. The club will provide a sandwich.  Let Jane Ellen know if you be attending so she knows how many will be eating.  charity.stlphc@gmail.com

From the Grizzlies website:
Aloha Grizzlies nation! On Saturday, July 21st the Gateway Grizzlies along with Saint Louis University present Jimmy Buffett Night at GCS Credit Union Ballpark. In addition to our usual family-fun entertainment, this night will feature a special Jimmy Buffett spin to it!
The night kicks off at 5:45 PM when the gates open and fans will get to experience the music stylings of Peach's Beach Party! The band will also play when the game concludes at our Left Field Stage.
During the game, we will be having our typical in-game promotions but with a Buffett paradise twist to them. You can also bid on any of the 25 player jerseys which will be hawaiian themed for that night. The highest bidder will earn the right to go on the field after the game and retreive their jersey and get it signed by an actual professional baseball player! The proceeds of this auction are going towards dental work for children with special needs at Saint Louis University at The Center for Advanced Dental Education.
This night has proven to be a fan favorite! A night of great music, amazing jerseys, and your usual Gateway Grizzlies fun! First pitch is at 7:05 PM and the Grizzlies will face off against the Traverse City Beach Bums.

Since 1967, The Open Space Council for the St. Louis Region has organized Operation Clean Stream, one of the country’s largest and longest running river restoration projects. The fourth weekend of every August, event volunteers take to the Meramec River and its tributaries, working to undo damage caused throughout the year by flooding, careless littering and the unlawful dumping of trash. Volunteers participate both in canoes and boats, as well as on the shore, in nearby parks, and along nearby trails.
